Below are some error messages you may encounter after entering your authentication code.
Message | Reason | Potential Fix |
Invalid Two-Factor security code | The code you entered is invalid | Retry by re-entering your correct user ID and password.
Using Authenticator App? If you are using an authenticator app to generate your Two-Factor Security code, check that your phone/device time is accurate (e.g your phone time is within 1 min of time displaying on https://time.is/) |
Too many Security Code Requests, try again later | You entered the code incorrectly too many times | Retry again in a few minutes |
Invalid or expired token | The code you entered has expired or is invalid | Click Resend Email to regenerate a new code |
Error Generating Security Code, try again later | There was an issue generating your security code
